Highpath Engineering

David Wrath-Sharman, an engineer customer of Cleland Cycles called started to lead monthly from Guildford in Surrey in 1984. He also began to make improvements to his Aventura bicycle that impressed other owners.

In 1985, after Cleland Cycles ceased production, David began making his own versions in his garden shed workshop in High Path road, Guildford. It was there he founded Highpath Engineering, a company that carried on the traddition of invention and innovation in off-road cycle design begun by Geoff Apps.
